Minor League Roster Moves

RHP Kip Bouknight has been promoted to New Orleans. As of this time, there has been no move made to replace Bouknight on the Senators roster so the active roster stands at 21 players with Henry Mateo still with the team on rehab from the Washington Nationals. Bouknight was 4-4 with a 4.01ERA in 20 appearances including 13 starts this year with the Senators. He was signed by the Nationals this past off-season after having split time last season between the Colorado Rockies and Toronto Blue Jays organization. Bouknight has previously pitched in AAA with Colorado Springs and Syracuse last season. As you can tell by his stops in with two other teams, the 26-year old Bouknight is not a premium prospect and projects as a long relief/spot starter if he were to make the major leagues.
